It was love at first sight
It was love at first sight. When I first saw the Raspberry Pi for sale in India, butterflies were in an all-out war in my stomach, and my heart ached. The other things on the site were really really cool too like the sort of affordable DIY Drone Kit.

No definition found for Love.
Okay, yes, I’m a nerd; a geek; a weirdo, but hear me out. Isn’t she just gorgeous?
Although wait, is it cheating if I’m ogling another computer while I have a computer of my own at home (assembled by me); which I’m using to write this blog article—rambling, or whatever? Is it like, emotionally cheating on my computer? Ehh, I’m fine with a bit of cheating though, so doesn’t matter.
Anyway, keeping that aside, I fell in love, again, when I first got to know that I can actually buy my own Raspberry Pi, and get it delivered in India from this really quirky and exciting website; Robocraze.com

Isn’t she such a beaut though? So gorgeous, and fantastic.
For people who are living under a rock, like some uncultured little gremlin. Raspberry Pi is basically this foundation which makes a ton of cool products such a modular components for a teeny-tiny computer which you can assembly by yourself; DIY!
It’s absolutely ridiculous how cool and fun all of it is.
You can make a computer which can fit in the palm of your hands, and it’ll still work decently well. Ofcourse, it’s no thread ripper or 4090 level performance, but you get what you paid for.
I think the nearest comparison I can make is to something more akin to like legos, or like, build a bear, or something like that. Personally, I’ve never had legos, for whatever reason, but yeah.
Keeping that aside, I first heard about the prowess of a Raspberry Pi system (for specialized applications) from Linus Tech Tips, I think. Dealing with all the Arduino stuff is like way above my pay-grade, so this honestly offers a simpler experience.
It’s a tragedy though that I can’t really afford to play with it. It’s a bit expensive for my liking, and I’m extremely frugal, or atleast I try to be.
To conclude, call me by your name (Raspberry Pi), and I’ll call you by mine (Vedant, duh).
P.S. The conclusion really doesn’t make any sense to be honest, but I just wanted to put an easter egg, or rather a reference to the movie by the same name, which I adore. I love the line too—it’s so powerful. Brimming with emotion.
P.S.S. Here are my computer’s specifications. I assembled it right after Covid for “school purposes”:
Ryzen 3600 (my love)
Gigabyte B450 MDSH Mobo
Zotac 1050 Ti (really shitty)
32 gb ram
250 GB SSD + several other 500GB SSDs + 1 TB HDD
ASUS ProArt Monitor (really cool, got for free) + Cheap ass LG Monitor
Cooler master depressing case
