Americophile

Since I was a little boy (which I technically still am as I’m a minor) I’ve been engrossed by the American Culture—the American way of doing things—the American dream, the (promiscuous) fairytale portrayal of high-school romance, and uhh, I’m a sucker for it.

My first e-relationship was with an American girl—she was Hispanic. I discovered this song during that time, it’s called ‘To all of you’ by Syd Matters—I absolutely love this song.

Sometimes, I fantasize about living the ideal, no, the DREAM life which I wish I had:

Growing up as an incredibly smart (and hot) nerd, yet, a jock at the same time. Going to the best prep school. Having a ton of fun. Going to Stanford, and, again, having a ton of fun. Then becoming the next Zuckerberg.

I mean yeah, it’s just my wild fantasy, but damn, somebody must be living it, and for that, I’m incredibly jealous. Distraught even.

Yeah, there’s no real point to this article (rambling)—I was just listening to the song I mentioned earlier for the nth time, and I saw a super-duper smart chick who got into Stanford this year + she’s also into dystopian content.
